Disaster Artist James Franco get accused by 5 women of sexual misconduct

Watch: James Franco addresses sexual misconduct allegations: "I will fix it"

'This Is the Backlash to the #MeToo Movement'

Five women have come forward with more details on the sexual misconduct allegations against actor James Franco.

More specifically, Tither-Kaplan claimed that during one orgy scene with Franco, he removed protective plastic guards covering other actress' vaginas and then simulated performing oral sex on them. They claimed Franco asked for volunteers to take their tops off and was upset that no one agreed.

Speaking to the Times, Tither-Kaplan said she witnessed an actress being sent home after balking at a request to do a topless scene; an experience Tither-Kaplan said made her feel that "you don't say "no" to this guy".

Franco has taught aspiring actors and filmmakers at Playhouse West in Hollywood and Studio 4, a film school he launched in Los Angeles and NY in 2014. The "Pineapple Express" actor was noticeably absent from the Critics Choice Awards on Thursday despite his win for Best Actor in "The Disaster Artist". "Please never ask me why I left the film/tv business", the former Breakfast Club star tweeted during the show, captioning one of her tweets, "#MeToo". "And I think that we have all behaved, at a certain level, unconsciously, and done things that were insensitive, inappropriate, without necessarily understanding that they were", Judd said. "I think that it's a good thing and I support it". He wore the Time's Up pin "because I do support it", he told host Stephen Colbert, before addressing the tweets and allegations. The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate. "I was talking to him, all of a sudden his penis was out", said Paley. "If I have to take a knock because I'm not going to, you know, try and actively refute things, then I will", he continued.

Franco was also prone to outbursts if he didn't get what he wanted, according to accusers Hilary Dusome and Natalie Chmiel.

However, Tither-Kaplan revealed she found it galling to see Franco support the campaign, as she has accused the 39-year-old actor of abusing his power as the head of Studio 4, the comedy and improv school that he abruptly closed in October last year. Vince Jolivette, Franco's production partner at Rabbit Bandini Productions, which ran Studio 4, said the school "was always run professionally" and that he was investigating the matter.

Actress Ally Sheedy, who worked with Franco in his 2014 off-Broadway play The Long Shrift, also alluded to his behaviour on Twitter on Sunday night, but has not revealed any specifics.

"I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson", the actor said at the time. "I'm completely willing and want to". During the interview, he said, "I'm guess I'm, you know, embarrassed, and I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky".
