Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 8.0 Oreo beta brings fast charging, faster app load time: Report

LG launched the Android 8.0 Oreo beta program for the V30 and V30+ in South Korea. Indeed, after seeking beta testers, Xiaomi began rolling out the Mi A1's Android Oreo update to a select group of users. With the Android Oreo beta test release, Indian technology site Telecomtalk has confirmed that the device has now received fast charging support in the latest update. The stable update comes nearly a month after LG had started the "LG OS Preview" beta programme on November 27. In addition, LG's announcement reveals the update also brings along some LDAC-related improvements.

Before starting a wireless update, South Korean V30 owners will have to wait for the software update notification on screen. LG Bridge is available via the LG mobile phone download center. The update adds many typical Android Oreo features such as picture-in-picture mode, Autofill API, and more, but it also adds an unexpected feature: fast charging.

Android 8.0 promises some important things for users with speed, battery, and basic performance increases. This premium smartphone by LG comes with 6-inch FuLLView display and dual cameras at the back.
