Facebook Ranked No. 1 on 'Best Places to Work' List: Report

The Employees' Choice Awards program, now in its 10 year, relies exclusively on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor. That means it beat out companies like Google (No. 5), Lululemon (No. 6), and Microsoft (No. 39). Ranked among the top 100 companies, AvalonBay Communities is the highest ranking real estate investment trust (REIT), of two that made the list, and the only multifamily REIT to receive this recognition.

Facebook for the third time in the last eight years has been rated by Glassdoor as the best place to work based on employee feedback.

The list honors companies that have 1,000 or more employees and those selected were chosen by using Glassdoor's award proprietary algorithm as well as each employer's "quantity, quality and consistency" of employee reviews between the period of November 1st, 2016 and October 22nd, 2017.
