Google Bans Applications that Inject Ads into the Lockscreen

Google finally bans apps that include shady lock screen ads from the Play Store
Hopefully Google follows through and actually pulls offending apps from the Play Store.
Datally works on Android smartphones with Lollipop (5.0) or newer versions of the Google-backed mobile operating system.
December is upon us and Google has revealed its annual list of top Android apps of the year, some of which may come off as surprising picks. It's able to see how much data your phone is using to stay connected, and alert you to apps that consume more than the amount with which you're comfortable, granting you the ability to cut their access off with a single tap.
The app helps users keep tabs on their data usage, broken down by the hour of the day, or segregated by apps.
Williams' midcourt 3 lifts Boise State over OR 73-70
The Ducks shot a ideal 10-for-10 but thanks to 22 fouls, allowed Boise State to take 25 attempts, 18 of which were converted. Altman lamented his team not making the tough plays, including losing key rebounds and getting beat in transition defense.
Nathan Redmond Clears Up What Pep Guardiola Said To Him
Redmond has since played down the incident, stating there was nothing aggressive or offensive in what Guardiola said to him. I have to do that, hopefully I can improve". "If the FA want my statement again, I am able to explain whatever they want".
Datally has views showing mobile data use broken down on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis so that users can see peak times and how app downloads and updates affect their usage.
Tests of the app in the Philippines had shown that Datally could help users save up to 30 percent on their data, Google said. The app also offers personalized recommendations and tips on how to trim down data consumption. A Chat-head styled option bubble will also pop on your screen to let you know the amount of data you're using up. Apps that save and disseminate such personal data that doesn't need to be collected must explain to the user how the data is going to be used.
To which is added a function called "Find Wi-Fi", which allows you to find the networks to which the user can connect and even shows directions on a map to reach them. That's why the search giant built an ad-blocking feature into Chrome, and why it's banning another category of ads - lockscreen advertisements - from applications hosted on the Google Play Store.
According to Datally, Google is only seeing how much data is entering and exiting your phone, and claims to be unaware of what exactly is being transmitted.
