Welcome to the Voice Wars
Apple's iPads have always been available for purchase on Amazon and Apple had ample leverage in the negotiations over the Prime Video app, so bet on Apple TV and Apple TV 4K becoming available on Amazon's retail channels at some point.
Streaming devices allow people to use apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and Amazon Prime on their TV. Those days are over: Amazon Prime Video, which has a pretty great selection of titles and a very poor interface to find them, is now available on Apple TV, per The Verge.
The beginning of service fulfilled the promise made by Apple CEO Tim Cook during a conference in June this year.
This news will likely end a long-standing feud between Apple and Amazon, two companies that have more money than you will ever see in your life, so you probably shouldn't worry too much about their feuds.
A test of audio capabilities on a second-generation Amazon Fire TV device showed full 5.1 sound support, unlike through the tvOS app. Here, the streaming service's content can come up in systemwide searches. After being pulled from the No. 1 e-commerce site in 2015, the Apple TV box reappeared on the retail website in September, only to vanish again.
Nvidia's Shield TV offers Wii and GameCube games in HD in China
According the Ahmad they now run on the much faster Shield at what should be a nice and crisp HD resolution-meaning 720p or 1080p. He said efforts to bring its new Nintendo Switch hybrid console to China continues independently of its partnership with Nvidia.
That rule also results in a slightly confusing experience on Amazon's iOS video app. From there, you can either watch programs through a Prime subscription ($100 per year for all Prime benefits, or $9 per month for Video only), and buy or rent individual shows and movies à la carte (prices vary).
Amazon has its own streaming device Fire TV, which competes against its expensive counterpart Apple TV. Though those Google app store "business terms" may also be a contributing factor in the aforementioned Amazon/Google spat.
These kinds of disputes can be confusing for consumers who probably just want to watch the things they like on the devices they've bought.
While Apple, Google and Amazon all bicker with each other about how they deliver and distribute each other's products and services, other streaming platforms are also increasingly tetchy about the way the big three tech/web giants organise their respective platforms so to favour their own music and video services.
