Gal Gadot Warns "Misogynist Sexists" That Their Time Is Up
Gadot and her Justice League costar Ezra Miller - can we just appreciate his shiny blue eyebrow and glittery jacket for a moment?! - recently sat down for an IGN interview, during which the celebs were tasked with asking each other questions.
In an interview with ET at the Justice League premiere, Gadot and Jenkins briefly clarified the situation.
Miller asked Gadot to share a message about what he deemed to be the "turning of the tides" from a male-dominated world.
Mentioning the recent "turning of the tides" in Hollywood - no doubt a reference to the many people now facing harassment and assault allegations - Miller asked his friend if she would say something for him: "Hetero patriarchy, your wrath upon this world is over". The sequel, again featuring Gal Gadot in the title role and directed by Patty Jenkins, will now bow in theaters November 1, 2019, up from the original release date of December 13, 2019. "I want it so bad!"
Gadot's performances in both Batman v. Superman and Wonder Woman earned her much critical acclaim, and with #WonderWoman being labelled as the best superhero film of all time by some, it certainly makes sense why Warner Bros. values Gadot so much.
Ratner's production company RatPac-Dune Entertainment helped produce Wonder Woman as part of its co-financing deal with Warner Bros.
According to deadline.com, RatPac Dune isn't committed to finance Wonder Woman 2. The flick is slated to release on November 17.
