Stabbing Confirmed at Mall of America

Two people reportedly stabbed at Mall of America

He is charged with two counts of first-degree assault.

Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman a 20 year old Minnesota man has been named as the individual who Sunday evening went on a stabbing spree during a 'botched' stealing attempt Bloomington's Mall of America.

Police say one victim was stabbed after confronting Abdirahaman who was allegedly trying to steal his belongings from the dressing room.

The pair attempted to stop him, prompting the man to pull a knife.

When the victim returned to the fitting room, he confronted Abdirahaman, who stabbed him, according to police.
