It was the third full day of the Trump-Corker feud that began Sunday morning when the president shellacked the retiring Tennessee Republican on Twitter, with Corker firing off his own tweet alleging that Trump has turned the White House into an "adult day care center".

On Tuesday, Trump took to Twitter to lambaste "Liddle Bob Corker", after the Tennessee Republican said he anxious that Trump's belligerent foreign policy rhetoric could ignite "World War III".

Corker, who is one of Tillerson's few confidants and staunch defenders in Washington, criticized a Trump tweet last weekend that undercut Tillerson's negotiations with North Korea.

"I know they're recording it, and I hope you are, too", Corker said.

Only eight percent think Trump is making the situation better, said the poll.

Looking at the voting histories of Bannon's targets, some things stand out for sitting Republican senators to consider: It doesn't seem to matter much how conservative you were before Trump came to office if you are not fully pro-Trump today.

Oil prices stable in early going as OPEC sees return of balance
Oil prices have firmed in 2017, but they have not risen as much as some analysts had forecast. A sharp increase in oil prices would tend to discourage consumption and thus growth.

Trump alleged Sunday morning in a Twitter tirade that Corker recently "begged" him for his endorsement, did not receive it and made a decision to retire because he "didn't have the guts" to run for reelection next year.

On Oct. 9, Corker stated that Trump had intentionally made inaccurate statements on a regular basis.

"We're on the right path right now, believe me", Trump said during his meeting with prominent US Diplomat Henry Kissinger earlier this week.

The feud is odd because Corker was briefly considered as a vice president running mate during the 2016 campaign.

The clash between Corker and Trump highlights fraying relations between the President and the men and women in Congress who the White House needs to deliver on the agenda Trump ran on.

Corker's comments have already infuriated Trump's base. Trump believes US corporations are the highest taxed in the world and that the people of the United States desperately want to be relieved of burdensome taxes.
