Lady Gaga said she felt people with mental health challenges were "not hiding anymore" and the Duke added that it is time "to feel normal about mental health - it's the same as physical health" and that good conversations can 'really make such a difference'.

The 33-year-old started the Royal Foundation with his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

The resources will be integrated into staff training courses and briefing processes across the Armed Forces from the middle of 2018. Crucially, fighting fitness is not just about physical fitness.

Jeremy Flemming said that the UK's enemies are constantly finding new ways to threaten the nation's security due to the speed of technological advances.

The prince, who served in the army for 10 years, will also be teaming up with Prince William and Kate Middleton after they announced the partnership between the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Foundation, according to the Guardian.

"Quite simply, these men and women are prized assets which need to be continually invested in".

As they renewed their acquaintance at the reception for supporters of the royals' Heads Together mental health campaign, Cooper, an assistance dog who has met Harry several times, climbed on to the prince's chest, as Harry crouched down, and gave him a friendly lick.

Just over half (51 percent) of those asked said it was now easy to speak about mental health.

The scheme also aims to develop mental health lectures and training for the courses some officer ranks and enlisted ranks - Corporal, Sergeant and Sergeant Major - have to complete to be promoted.

"Our soldiers, sailors and airmen are the best in the world but we will only maintain that if we are as serious about improving mental health as we are our combat skills and cutting-edge technology", Fallon said.

Lorraine Heggessey, CEO of The Royal Foundation, said, "People have told us that this was so important to them and we believe the national conversation is changing".

The Duchess of Cambridge tonight made her first public appearance since announcing she is pregnant with her third child last month.

An MoD spokesman said the project would be jointly funded by the Royal Foundation and the Ministry of Defence.

The devoted mother was even forced to miss Prince George's first day of school as a result of the illness.

In spite of the strains placed on military personnel, research suggests rates of mental disorder are slightly lower in the Armed Forces at 3.2 per cent than in the general population, where it is 3.5 per cent.
