The daughter of the house's owner told KOB, "We feel like we can't leave because when we do, something happens and that's ridiculous".

The pizza-tossing had gotten so bad that the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, urged fans to knock it off more than two years ago.

A family that lives in a house once used as a set in the AMC crime drama "Breaking Bad" was forced to install an iron fence around their property to keep out hardcore fans of the series, according to reports.

Joanne Quintana, whose mother owns the home, told KOB 4 the fence should be completed soon, but it hasn't stopped people from trying to climb around the construction to snap pictures.

She said her home is bombarded on a weekly basis with countless tourists - up to "hundreds" on one weekend - seeking photographs and stealing rocks for souvenirs.

In particular, the pizzas have become most problematic; Quintana said she loses track of how many pies are tossed every week.

"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan rebuked pizza-tossing fans by saying there was "nothing original or amusing or cool" about their stunts.

How different are the types of people who visit the house from Breaking Bad vs the house from Full House?

Neighbours have been bothered by it, too: "All day, non-stop, there's people up and down this road".

"We're hearing from her that folks are wandering onto her property and they are being rude to her when she comes out when she basically says to them, 'You're on my property, '" Gilligan said on the "Better Call Saul" Insider podcast.

"It's been done before, you're not the first".
