An 82-year-old woman, her three daughters and a male guard were found dead inside a house on Saturday in Delhi, police said.
According to reports, the killings seem to be done to avoid a property dispute as nothing was stolen from the house.
The four deceased - reportedly from the same family - were identified as Nupur Jindal (35), Anjali Jindal (33), Urmila (65) and Sangeet Gupta (43). The police officials present at the spot said that the incident came to light when a call was made to the police at 7:15 AM.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Nupur Prasad said the motive behind the killings was not known. More details on the matter are awaited.
Another neighbour Prabha (56) said that she often met Ms. Urmila and her three daughters in the temple nearby and used to greet each other warmly.
