BlackBerry's upcoming all-touchscreen phone has leaked

From the press rendering, we can also see that it is running Android-no surprise there, as BlackBerry ditched its own homegrown operating system for Google's mobile OS previous year. Prolific tipster Evan Blass has leaked a render showing the alleged BlackBerry "Krypton" which is speculated to be unveiled as BlackBerry Motion. Today it became known the name - the device will be known as Motion, and it was shown at a fairly high quality render from Evan Blass.

The front will now house the fingerprint scanner - which looks to have the Blackberry logo embedded on it.

The device is rumoured to be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 626 processor. It is not yet known when and where the BlackBerry Motion will release first, or how much it will cost. It may also be IP67-rated for water and dust resistance. Unlike on the Blackberry KeyOne, the customisable BlackBerry Convenience Key with textured finish is also placed on the right edge of the device.

IF THE NEW FLAGSHIPS out of Apple and Google have failed to impress you, there's, er, a new BlackBerry smartphone on its way. Of course, BlackBerry security additions on the software front will also be a part of this smartphone, when it is launched.

Earlier there were rumours surrounding a BlackBerry Android smartphone called the Krypton. The picture also suggests that the smartphone will have the 3.5mm audio jack. Thankfully, the image reveals a little bit of info such as the fact that it's an all-touch smartphone, unlike the KEYone which features a QWERTY keyboard. The phone could boast a 4GB of RAM and it is reported to sport a 4000mAh battery. That phone even had the iconic Blackberry keyboard, which tempted some BlackBerry OS stalwarts to make the switch to Android.
