Terror attacks in Britain
U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May condemned a bombing that took place on a London Underground train this morning as "cowardly", telling ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos it's time to examine whether Britain's police have the full capabilities they need.
Trump has been outspoken about the terror threat in London, urging the public to "stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security of our people" after the attack by the London Bridge in June, which killed seven and injured dozens.
In another tweet, he said, "Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!"
During the telephone call, Trump conveyed his sympathies and prayers for those injured in the attack, the White House said in a statement.
President Trump signaled he would like his controversial travel ban expanded, writing Friday on Twitter that his bar on travelers from several Muslim-majority countries "should be far larger, tougher and more specific" but complaining that enlarging it would not be "politically correct".
There were further fears over leaks of Friday's probe when CBS This Morning-a major US Broadcaster-tweeted a photo of the improvised device, saying "A source close to investigation says the bucket contained explosive materials consistent with other recent terrorist incident".
At this point, we have no idea who's responsible for the attack in Parsons Green, so blaming ISIS may be a little premature. "Must be proactive & nasty!" As a candidate, Trump often pledged to "bomb the hell out of ISIS" and vowed to enact a Muslim ban.
The travel ban bars certain people from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the US.
The tweet also seemed to imply that Scotland Yard knew about the terror attack.
Trump has military options for North Korea
The three worldwide goals Trump will emphasize on the visit are "peace", "prosperity" and "sovereignty", McMaster said. US President Donald Trump has scheduled talks with leaders of Japan and South Korea to address the crisis.
