Shares hit by US-North Korea tensions
North Korea had responded to Trump's previous promise to unleash " fire and fury " with a threat to land a missile near the U.S. European stock markets fell further in opening trade on Friday on intensifying fears over North Korea, dealers said.
A disturbance that has been slowly making its way across the Atlantic since last week has organized and gained strength, becoming the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season's eighth tropical depression, the National Hurricane Center reports.
"At this time, the more likely scenario is for the tropical system to stay offshore", AccuWeather meteorologist Dan Kottlowski said in a report.
The disturbance is forecast to move northwestward through the weekend and to turn northeastward - away from the US coast - early next week. With its current forecast track, the only impact to the United States will be some increased surf along the coast. The NHC advises that it is still capable of dropping heavy rains on Florida over the next few days, though, even if it doesn't organize.

Friday's temperatures across the west will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, with the Grand Junction area seeing upper 80s. The heavier and more extensive rain areas will move east tomorrow night with some rain lingering overnight.
