Rakoff said he was told DMX, 46, travelled to St. Louis and Chicago without permission and tested positive for cocaine since his arrest last month.

DMX caught the ire of a federal judge during his hearing on tax evasion charges in NY on Friday (Aug. 11). Roughly four weeks after spending a night in a jail cell after turning himself in for a tax evasion charges, Page Six reports X, born name Earl Simmons, could be sent back after violating the terms of his bail conditions.

Shockingly, instead of sending him to jail, the judge was lenient on him and ordered that X be place on house arrest with an electronic ankle bracelet. The site reports that X failed four drug tests.

DMX's attorney, Murray Richman, also addressed his tardiness to his hearing citing that his driver "took a circuitous route and got here late". The lawyer said that drugs can linger in the body for a month even after someone stops using them and that DMX had an opiates prescription for pain relief.

His songs include the 2003 hit "X Gon' Give it to Ya". DMX could be headed back to jail soon, but whatever time he faces would pale in comparison to the 44-year stint he'd deal with if convicted on all 14 counts of tax evasion.
