1 Dead, 2 Injured in Conn. Small Plane Crash
At least one person is dead following a fatal plane crash in New Milford.
The plane had departed from Danbury Municipal Airport and crashed at the end of Runway 17-35 at Candlelight Farms Airport.
New Milford Police said the pilot was killed in the crash.
The third person on the plane was 44-year-old Peter Jellen, of NY, who was seriously injured but able to walk from the crash to a nearby home and call for help, police said.
The plane appears to be from a flight school, but it is unclear if they were taking off or landing.
