Days after police arrested Vikas Barala and Ashish Kumar in the stalking case, Chandigarh court on Saturday sent both the accused to Judicial Custody till August 25 for further investigation. The counsel of the accused, Surya Prakash, claims that his clients did not stalk Varika leave aside an allegations of attempted abduction. The court allowed the application and the two will now be produced in court on August 24. The Chandigarh police had submitted an application asking for judicial remand for Barala, the son of Haryana Bharatiya Janata Party President Subhash Barala, and Kumar, for 14 days.
