Arsenal predicted line-up v Leicester

Arsenal have also reportedly offered Sanchez a new contract worth £300,000-a-week as they look to shut down rumours linking him with a move to Manchester City.

Sanchez has been mentioned in transfer speculation throughout the summer after entering the final year of his Arsenal contract, with big-spending City and French titans PSG the main pair linked with his services.

The Chile forward missed pre-season after being granted extra time off following the Confederations Cup and has been ruled out of Friday's game due to an abdominal strain.

However, Arsene Wenger has been adamant that Sanchez is not going anywhere and it is likely that the new contract can see him continue at the Emirates for more than one more season.

The 26-year-old set Arsenal back an initial fee of £46.5 million ($60.3 million, 51.5 million euros) and is expected to lead the line, flanked by Sanchez and Ozil.

Here's everything you need to know as Arsenal and Leicester kick off the 2017/18 Premier League season.

Mourinho says Manchester United still in the market for a winger
He said: "When I joined Manchester United a year ago I thought immediately that we needed a Matic kind of player". And I always had respect and the desire to do well in the English cups and I always liked to go to the finals.

"He will not play at Stoke", said Arsene Wenger.

"He had a little abdominal strain that he caught on Sunday morning in training, before he came to Wembley", Wenger said.

"He adds great value to the squad and I think as well he is a great lover of the club".

However, other reports today claim Wenger is not confident Sanchez will extend, with the Arsenal boss having reportedly told SFR Sports he is not not "super optimistic" the Chilean will renew.

"You will have so many scientists around the team that who will bring out the team to play on Saturday will be more management specialists than football specialists".

Arsenal's third goal in their comeback win over Leicester City should not have stood after a "blatant handball" was missed in the build-up, says Jamie Carragher. "I don't think I would have started him".
