Facebook Messenger Home Screen Ads Rolling Out Worldwide

The demand for advertisements from advertisers is more on Facebook and Twitter as the world is highly populated by ad-blocking through browsers.

Facebook revenue growth was expected to throttle back "significantly" this year as the social network runs out of room to post ads, Facebook's chief financial officer David Wehner said during an earnings call with analysts.

However, there are many spammers out there who are trying to fool users who don't know about this. Surprisingly, this test must have been very successful as Facebook announced the advertising option will be enabled worldwide.

For more information, you can head over to the official announcements of Facebook. However, we think that they will start using ads on this application sometime in the near future, which could be quite annoying for most of you.

Marketplace was launched by Facebook last October in countries like the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand on mobile.

It started selling ads inside Facebook Messenger, and was in Cannes to sell and educate ad buyers on Messenger ads just last month.

Considering there are more room for advertisers on its network the tech giant will roll out advertisement programs on its main Facebook social network, on the Facebook Messenger, the Instagram and also on WhatsApp.

"We are starting a small test that shows ads to a small percentage of people using Marketplace in the USA and will evaluate the response before determining how we move forward", Michelle Bonner Techel, Product Marketing Manager at Facebook, said in a statement per Recode. However, the big difference, of course, is the fact that you won't be able to buy products directly on Facebook through the ads.
