Shia LaBeouf says behavior during Georgia arrest is 'a new low'
As we reported, production sources were shocked to see he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct over the weekend, as he's been nothing but professional, reliable, and sober since shooting began. You know she watches porn, she probably watches the x-f***ing big boys and s***, like looking at black d***. Body camera footage of the arrest surfaced Tuesday showing the actor going in a violent rant against the police as officers detain him in the lobby of a hotel and take him to a squad vehicle. He was later released after posting $7,000 bond.
LaBeouf unleashed a verbal assault during the arrest and taunted the officers during the booking process, claiming he was an American who paid his taxes and called the officers "cowards", "pirates", "slimy" and the type "who put their own kind in the pen".
LaBeouf also comments on the officer's race in the body-cam video, telling the officer that he's "got a president that don't give a shit about you".
According to police, the incident was sparked when Shia was rebuked by a bystander he asked for a cigarette.
Separate video released Tuesday shows LaBeouf yelling at officers that if he had his gun he'd "blow your shit up".
"LaBeouf was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behaviour continued".
The actor, whose racist, expletive-laden exchanges were caught on officers' body cameras and published online by TMZ, posted his statement on Twitter on Wednesday following his latest brush with law enforcement.
"I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and make no excuses for it", he wrote in an extended statement.
In his apology, LaBeouf said: "My outright disrespect for authority is problematic, to say the least, and completely destructive to say the worst".
Additional photos and video continue to be released on LaBeoufs arrest, and now images also include him attempting to destroy a pay phone in his cell. "The severity of my behavior is not lost on me", he said.
This is not the first time LaBeouf has been charged with a misdemeanour this year: In January, he was arrested for getting into a physical altercation near his anti-Trump art installation in Queens, New York.
