The U.S. has won its group in 13 of 14 Gold Cups, finishing second to Panama in 2011.

In the final game of Group B action at the 2017 Gold Cup, the USA men's national team put together a much-improved performance in a 3-0 victory over Nicaragua.

Miazga, a Chelsea defender playing his first global match since May 2016, had an open header near a post and scored his first goal in three national team appearances. Instead Panama will face the Ticos.

The U.S. finally broke through, scoring in the 37th minute. Alejandro Bedoya found him in the box with a good pass, but Corona stalled, waiting too long to shoot.

Corona's goal came nearly four years to the day from his last one for the national team - also in the Gold Cup, on July 21, 2013 - in a 5-1 win over El Salvador. Dwyer, who was bidding to become only the third American to score in his first three internationals, sent the spot kick high to the near post where it was saved by Nicaragua goalkeeper Gustavo Lorente.

NHIS boss reportedly refuse to go on suspension
He said: "The committee was aware that the minister wrote to the Executive Secretary, through the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. According to him, witnesses who testify before the committees are protected from administrative sanctions and intimidation.

But the second goal came just seven minutes later, with Bedoya providing the assist once again. The US got another chance at a penalty after that, with Corona stepping up to take the second attempt, but Lorente blocked that as well.

Nicaragua made four changes as Cyril Errington, Bismarck Veliz, Bryan Garcia and Luis Peralta replaced Manuel Rosas, Carlos Chavarria, Eulises Pavon and Erick Tellez from the team beaten 2-1 by Panama.

After Copete picked up a second yellow card in the 85th minute, Zusi drifted in a delightful set-piece for Miazga to head in at the back post for what was a crucial goal for USA.
