As the world marks World Emoji Day, Apple has revealed its newest ones that focus on the weird and wonderful.

To help celebrate World Emoji Day, Apple's showing off some of the new emoji that will launch alongside iOS 11.

"Bearded person", "breastfeeding", "sandwich" and "coconut" were among the new illustrations.

Those emoji will not be available for Apple products until Apple actually adds support for Unicode 10, which includes designing its own artwork for each emoji.

The new slate of small pictures and icons you use in messaging will also include more animals such as a dinosaur and zebra and mythical creatures like zombies and elves. The Exploding Head smiley is an instant favorite.
