Despite the overwhelming belief that the Golden State Warriors would beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals, more people watched compared to last year's Game 3. Durant, who controversially joined Golden State during last year's Free Agency, made a go-ahead three-point basket to silence the crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Added to the fact that he joined a Warriors team that won the National Basketball Association title in 2015 and followed that up by winning a record 73 games last season before falling to Cleveland in seven games, Durant was considered a villain by many.

In fact, the Warriors outscored Cleveland 29-19 in the fourth quarter, with the majority of that coming in the waning minutes of the game.

"I said after we won the Eastern Conference Finals that we're getting ready for a juggernaut", he said.

This year sure feels different - especially with the Warriors' addition of Kevin Durant - but we're in the same spot after two games of the series.

The gunman, Karim Cheurfi , was shot dead by police and a note praising the Islamic State group was found next to his body. No police officers or passers-by were hurt in the incident Monday afternoon, the Paris police department said.

James and Kyrie Irving combined for 77 points, dominating much of the second half, but even their electrifying performance was not enough to put a blemish on the Warriors' ideal record.

"And so that's a battle I'm trying to go through more so than worrying about how I'm playing, how great I'm playing".

"We had some really good looks". We make a couple, they miss a couple, and it's the other way around. "So win, lose or draw, you live with the results", added James, when asked to break down the final few minutes.

Durant's sheer talent and uncanny ability to hit shots at key moments has been the difference maker for a Warriors team that have raced out to a 3-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the best-of-seven NBA Finals. Not team has ever overcome a 3-0 deficit.
