An online fundraising campaign, originally set up to collect money to send Ms Zelenak's parents to the United Kingdom, has been re-opened in light of the confirmation of her death.

Sara Zelenak, 21, of Brisbane remains missing.

The body was recovered near Limehouse in east London, downstream of London Bridge.

The Boden family, in a statement released on Tuesday night, said Kirsty was running to help victims of the stabbing and van attack when she was fatally injured.

The man who tried to save Australian nanny Sara Zelenak as she was stabbed by terrorists in London has revealed he is haunted and can not sleep after the harrowing attack.

'As she ran towards danger, in an effort to help people on the bridge, Kirsty sadly lost her life, ' they said.

Grave concerns are held for 21-year-old Queensland woman Sara Zelenak who disappeared at London Bridge on Sunday and is still missing.

In a letter posted outside, the Ummah Fitness Centre said staff would "help the police in any way we can" as investigators try to learn more about Khuram Shazad Butt.
