Bill Cosby admits giving pills to Andrea Constand

Jury to hear Bill Cosby's testimony about quaaludes and sex

Actor Bill Cosby center and publicist Andrew Wyatt right exit the courtroom at the end of the fourth day of the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse Wednesday

The prosecution rested its case on Friday.

He never took any of them himself, but he admitted under deposition that he gave them to women he wanted to have sex with.

Prosecutors later in the day also read parts of the deposition in which Cosby acknowledged buying Quaaludes he would give to women before he would have sex with them.

While he insisted the encounter was consensual, Cosby still apologized to Gianna Constand, an action which he tried to explain. In the deposition Cosby gave as part of a civil suit Constand filed against him in 2005, the entertainer said Constand's mother had called him to discuss an evening he'd spent with her daughter. Cosby became a mentor to Constand, and he would sometimes invite her to dinner at his house either alone or with others.

"I want to find out what the problem is face-to-face", Cosby said in the transcript read to jurors.

Valliere's testimony could also lend credibility to Cosby accuser Kelly Johnson's testimony, which included her admitting she was scared to speak up about Cosby's alleged assault of her since she worked at a Hollywood agency where he was the top client.

Before the trial began, Cosby said he didn't expect to testify in person and hasn't so far. Andrea is not giving me a half a pound of anything except [.] I couldn't.

The pink pill was confirmed to be generic Benadryl, but the government's witness undercut the significance of this.

During his testimony, Reape asked why Cosby would give pink Benadryl to authorities if he claimed to still have the blue pills. But the unsealing of that deposition by a federal judge in 2015 spurred Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele to reopen the investigation that year.

He said: "I apologized but my apology was, 'My God, I'm in trouble with these people because this is a dirty old man with a young girl.' And the mother seizes on this...."

Lead defense attorney Brian McMonagle asked Shaffer about Cosby's insistence that Constand was not incapacitated at the time of the incident. He said to her, 'Andrea don't you remember?

Dr. Veronique Valliere, president of Valliere Counseling & Associates, Inc.in Allentown, Pennsylvania, also testified Friday as an expert witness in sexual assault, survivor response to sexual assault and survivor and offender dynamics.

"My dress was pulled up from the bottom, and it was pulled down from the top, and my breasts were out", she said, crying. He said he failed to mail the information because he felt he was being attacked feared his phone call with Costand's mother, Gianna Costand, was being recorded. It took Constand a year to come forward.

A lawyer responds: "Is that what you said?" Presiding Judge Steven T. O'Neill predicted that jurors will start deliberating early next week.

According to USA Today, prosecutors asked Valliere - who has treated both victims and assailants - a series of hypothetical questions about a victim whose attacker is well-liked and respected in the workplace.

McMonagle challenged Valliere's impartiality by introducing the fact she commented "Victory!"

Cosby's lawyers will present his side of the story before jurors get the case. It is a central nervous system depressant.

Bill Cosby thought he could talk his way out of his problems with the woman who accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her.

But she added, "Most times it's not violent". An adult would need to take only one tablet to induce drowsiness, expert Timothy Rohrig said.

Bill Cosby's spokesman is dangling the possibility that the 79-year-old comedian may testify at his sexual assault trial after all.
