Teen Who Disappeared After Prom Faces Criminal Charge

Sad news in the story of an Orofino teen reported missing after prom:17-year-old Kristian Perez died in a vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Spokesman-Review reports 17-year-old Kristian Perez died at a Lewiston hospital after a crash Wednesday afternoon.

The driver lost control of his auto and rolled over an embankment on Sunnyside Bench Road near the Clearwater County line. Perez was extricated from the auto and airlifted to a hospital where he later died.
