The phone is expected to be quite like the regular Samsung Galaxy S8, but will be more durable - a rough and tough device for those who are either adventurous and outgoing or quite clumsy.
After coming in behind Apple during the fourth quarter of previous year, Samsung grabbed the top spot in global smartphone market share in the first quarter of 2017, according to a reportreleased today by the Taiwan-based market research firm TrendForce. It all started out with the Galaxy S4 (no fear of misfortune) and seems to be continuing in the form of Galaxy S8 Active.
The Galaxy S8 pre-registrations debuted in India recently and the flagship smartphone was expected to be released later this month.

Samsung India has announced that their 2017 flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus will be launched in India next week on April 19, the official Twitter handle of Samsung India tweeted out on Friday.
