Straight Out of Gronk's Playbook: Spicer Reacts to Interruption

Yesterday, the National Football League released its 2017 schedule.

The New England Patriots announced Raymond Clayborn, Richard Seymour and Mike Vrabel as finalists for the Patriots Hall of Fame Friday.

Clayborn was a three-time Pro Bowl player (1983, 1985, 1986) for the Patriots during a career that extended from 1977 through 1989. A three-time All-Pro selection and member of the Patriots' all-decade teams of the 70s and 80s as well as their 35th anniversary team, Clayborn played a key role on the Patriots' first Super Bowl squad and helped the franchise to 10 winning seasons and four postseason berths. Vrabel, like Seymour, played for the Patriots from 2001 to 2008. He caught touchdown passes in Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX, and earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors during New England's undefeated regular season in 2007. The cornerback finished his career with the Patriots with 36 interceptions, which is tied with Ty Law for most in Patriots history. To add to his already impressive resumé, Seymour also served as a team captain four times.

Mike Vrabel is a finalist for the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Seymour spent the first eight seasons of his 12-year National Football League career with the Patriots and played an important part in delivering six division championships, four conference titles and three Super Bowl championships to New England.

One of these three will be elected into the Hall through an online fan vote, with voting ending May 15.

Vrabel was a strong outside linebacker on the three Super Bowls from the early 2000s.
