Chris Evans to Make Broadway Debut in Kenneth Lonergan's 'Lobby Hero'
Second Stage has co-commissioned a new works for Broadway from Bess Wohl, through a partnership with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and from Lydia R. Diamond and Dominique Morisseau that will be developed in association with director Kenny Leon's True Colors Theater.
From Captain America to Captain Broadway, Chris Evans will make his Broadway debut next season alongside Michael Cera in Kenneth Lonergan's "Lobby Hero". That production will be followed in July 2018 with a revival of Jean Young Lee's Straight White Men, staged by Anna D. Shapiro. Exact dates for both productions will be announced. The role will still be somewhat of a thriller for Evans, since "Lobby Hero" is a play about four New Yorkers who are involved in a murder.
