The ZTE nubia Z11 mini S went official in October past year, but is only now escaping China to hit shelves in India.

Regarding the launch, Mr. Dheeraj Kukreja, Marketing Director, nubia India, says: "nubia is a metronome when it comes to pushing user experience". The Nubia Z11 mini S comes supports the FiT 2.0 technology as well, which allows to activate certain preset functions when the user swipes on the left or right edge of the screen. A fingerprint sensor is on its rear panel which, the company claims, can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The Nubia Z11 Mini S is priced at Rs 16,999, and will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting tomorrow at 4PM IST.

Nubia is all gung-ho about the Z11 mini S' camera which utilises Sony's IMX318 Exmor S sensor at the rear and IMX258 Image Sensor on the front. It produces high quality photos and can capture 1080p high definition video.

The Nubia Z11 mini S equips a 5.2-inch 2.D curved glass display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection for scratch resistance. The display offers a pixel density of 424ppi and brightness of 450 nits. On the front, the Z11 Mini S comes with a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and Phase Detection Autofocus.

The phone is powered by an Octa-Core, 64 Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8953 processor. The Z11 Mini S packs 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card). The 3000mAh non-removable battery comes with NeoPower 2.0 power management functionality. It measures 146.06x72.14x7.6mm, and weighs 158 grams. The dual SIM device supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE network support. It will be available in in Khaki Grey and Moon Gold colour variants. Besides, the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, USB Type-C port, WiFi 802.11 ac, and Global Positioning System support. Sensors on the device include Electronic compass, G-sensor, Light sensor, Gyro-sensor and Proximity sensor.
