2017 T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship: Race Report
While Pitamber from Uttar Pradesh was a victor, Shivnihal Singh and Gurujant Singh took second and third position on the podium. In comparison, the fastest time managed by the 400PS T1 Prima Truck during the races was around 1min 47sec.
The 2017 edition of the Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship concluded today at the BIC after four races. This season saw new Indian and global truck drivers battling with each other on the race track on their Tata Prima race trucks. He clocked the fastest lap time of 1:50.562.
The Super Class is the batch of fresh Indian drivers.
Race 1 of the Pro Class, which was the qualifier for the championship-deciding race, started of with some very close competition, which eventually led to Ryan Smith being trapped in the gravel trap after C3.
Up next was the first race of the Pro-Class, which saw global drivers taking centre-stage. The racing lines taken, were different and there was a lot more controlled aggression, with neither driver wanting to give an inch to the other. Norbert Kiss of team Tata Technologies motorsports managed to secure the second position, ahead of Gerhard Kober of team Dearer Warriors on the third place. He was followed by Gerhard Korber and David Jenkins taking second and the third position.

In the Champions Class, Andhra based Nagarjuna was the victor at the T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship 2017.
Champion Class - This season of the championship will also feature the Indian top performing truck drivers from Season 3, who will partake in enhanced race training to push them to the next level of racing as they compete in their own class of race called the champion class.
Super Class - Comprising of Indian race truck drivers selected through the T1 Racer Program.
The second edition of this program, TRP 2.0, received 3300 plus applications from all over the country.

South Supreme Airlines Aircraft Crashes in South Sudan
A South Supreme Airlines airplane reportedly crashed at the Wau Airport in South Sudan Monday while carrying 44 passengers. Firefighters rushed to the scene and pictures show the burned out wreckage of the plane with just the tail fin visible.
