Bob Dylan coming to Kingston

Following a European jaunt and a handful of dates in the United States, Dylan - billed as Bob Dylan and His Band - will head north for a trip through Canada.

Dylan's stop in Kelowna is on the tail end of his global tour, which starts in April in Sweden and ends on July 27 in Victoria.

Last October, Dylan was the first musician to receive the Nobel Prize in literature.

Dylan is scheduled to release his 38th studio album, "Triplicate", on March 31. The album - three discs each featuring 10 songs - features new recordings of American classics such as Stormy Weather, As Time Goes By and September of My Years.

The 75-year-old music icon is scheduled to play Winnipeg as part of 18 Canadian stops on his summer tour.

Dylan will also be appearing at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ont., two days earlier on June 27.
